Ilinca Ghibu

Ilinca Ghibu has been painting for over ten years. Since 2012, she has a studio in Montreal where she maintains a full time studio practice.

Ilinca’s love affair with painting began during a two year sojourn in Paris as a teenager which fostered her interest and appetite in pursuing a career as a visual artist. She pursued her studies in painting and drawing at the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts and The Visual Arts Centre situated in Montreal under the tutelage of several respected artists. She also has degrees in both law and communications that provide her with a strong work ethic and relentless desire to succeed. It is this determination and willpower that have brought her gallery representation and collectors alike.
